I’ve always enjoyed working away from London, the opportunity to really get to know somewhere by living there for weeks and months is wonderful. My latest project is a little Gaelic language drama called ‘Bannan’ set on the Isle of Skye.
I’d never been to Skye before and wow, what a treat I’ve been missing!! It’s a stunningly beautiful place and such a privilege to be able to spend a couple of months here. I mean, where else could you get a view from the office like this…
And not only is it a wonderful place to be, the project had a nicely challenging set to design…. not just the concept but within the tight resources available. The production team have been amazing too and the results are testament to the power of collaboration! Thank you Young Films for the opportunity to come and play!
